IT and FAP departments worked on the automatic activation of the computing account for the persons entitled to (all members of the personnel, some Externals and contractor's and temporary's personnel with some exceptions).

The different steps of the account activation are the following:
Step 1 | The registration document for the person concerned is approved. |

Step 2 | The status of the person is verified. |
Step 3 | The person receives an automatic email to access the IT webportal. |
Step 4 |
The person activates the computing account by creating a password. N.B. Externals are not entitled to an EDH account. |
Step 5 |
The person receives an automatic notification as a confirmation and must sign the computing rules acceptance within 5 days or the computing account will be deactivated. |
If any problems arise with account activation (the email has not been sent or the person cannot find it, the link to the portal does not work or has expired), the person contacts the Service Desk who, depending on the situation, may decide to revert to the current IT account creation process.
As a reminder, Externals are not entitled to an EDH account.
